Privacy Policy

Fecha de vigencia: March 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information KanbanCal collects, including Google user data used for the optional Google Calendar integration, how that information is used, how it is protected, and what rights users may have regarding their data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information required to operate KanbanCal, including account details, workspace content, task data, reminder and scheduling settings, support requests, and limited technical usage information related to security and product functionality.

2. Google User Data We Access

If you connect Google Calendar, KanbanCal accesses only the Google user data needed for that integration: your Google account email address, the list of calendars available in the connected account (such as calendar ID, calendar name, primary status, and access role), and permission to create, update, and delete calendar events in the calendar you select for synchronization. KanbanCal also stores OAuth tokens, granted scopes, the selected calendar ID, returned Google event IDs, and sync status data required to keep the connection working.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide the service, authenticate users, support calendar synchronization, create and maintain task reminder events in your selected Google Calendar, respond to support requests, maintain security, and operate and improve product performance.

4. How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used only to enable the Google Calendar feature you request. KanbanCal uses your Google account email to identify the connected account, uses calendar list metadata so you can choose a destination calendar, and uses calendar event access only to create, update, or remove KanbanCal-generated events that reflect your workspace tasks and due dates. KanbanCal does not use Google user data for advertising and does not sell Google user data to third parties.

5. Sharing, Security, and Retention

We do not sell your personal information. We may rely on infrastructure, authentication, and calendar providers when needed to deliver the service. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account and workspace information. Connection records and related synchronization data may be retained while the integration is active and for operational, legal, security, or backup reasons when necessary.

6. Revoking Access and Deleting Connected Data

You can disconnect Google Calendar from KanbanCal at any time from the workspace settings. Disconnecting removes the stored Google Calendar connection for that workspace and deletes local sync mappings associated with the connection. You can also revoke KanbanCal access directly from your Google account permissions.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights related to access, correction, deletion, or export of your data. You may contact us at [email protected] to request those actions where applicable.

8. Google API Services Policy

KanbanCal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
